A quite spot for carp fishing on the lake fed by the River Len at Mote Park, Maidstone, England. I have been trying out some Ilford HP5 which I had rated at 800 ISO and although I’ve use this film in the past, I had never pushed this film in bright light before and so far I am very happy with the results and somewhat cheaper than Tri-X.
Taken using my Leica M4-2, with a Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH.
Honfleur, outside the Alcyone caf’e. I saw this young lady standing bare foot holding her boots, so I took the shot. Now I know women like to paint their nails, but never someone standing in the street with cotton wool between her toes and then walk off like it. Even my wife raised her eyebrows!
Leica M4-2, Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH, and taken on Kodak Tri-X film rated at 800 ISO. And in case anyone is wondering, yes I did manage to underexpose the image by a couple of stops!
The newly repainted Cycle lane catching the early morning sunlight along Sheerness sea wall, England. I was taken by the way the white lines were glowing in the light against the dark, weathered concrete.

Waiting for his master to come back, I spotted this dog in a supermarket car park in Sheerness just as the early evening sunlight caught his face. All the time I was there he cried continuously watching though the open window.

Street shot taken in Honfleur, France. I saw this elegant lady, with beret walking down towards me, I got a shot standing on some nearby steps. Having processed the image, pleased with triangular look with the three women, but I found this lady has her eyes shut. All the same I’m still happy with this picture.

I shot in Rue de l’Homme de Bois, Honfleur, France. Having seen this couple walking hand in hand up the middle of the street and with their hats it just made for a great picture I had to get.

I came across the Railway station at Morteaux-Coulibœuf, Normandie, France. This lovely old building is derelict, the platforms overgrown with weeds, and yet the stop its seems is still operational. Only clue to its use, a modern ticket machine outside the building. I could of spent hours looking around this location but unfortunately the weather was closing in.
