Deauville in France again. While my wife was having a conversation with this lady on the street corner, I was amused of how her two greyhounds where standing around their owners shadow on the pavement.

Being watched

While in the crowds of Mont Saint-Michel, France, waiting for the missus to remerge from one of the many shops, I had the feeling I was being watched. As the crowd cleared these two where watching my dog Charlie and with their blue eyes it was quite a unnerving sight.

Taken using a Leica M4-2, Summicron 50mm on Kodak Tri-X film and developed in Ilford ID11.

Lurcher in the grass

My dog Charlie again. I have a goal of using my Leica M4-2 without using a handheld meter. Slowly but surely I seem to be able to get exposures right without worrying about carrying the exposure meter with me. Think the exposure I used was something like 1/60 at F4 into the bright sunlight, which I’m very please with as trying to get Charlie to stay still long enough while out and about isn’t that easy!

Taken at Bartons Point Coastal Park, Kent, England on a Leica M4-2, Summicron 50mm f/2 lens with Fomapan 100 Classic film and home developed in Ilford ID11.

Who are you looking at?

Having got my M4-2 rangefinder back from the repairers, I just had to get a film though it! Spotted this little fellow with his owner sitting on a bench at Barton Point Coastal park, Isle of Sheppey, England.

Taken on my Leica M4-2, Summicron 50mm f/2 on Fomapan 100 Classic film, using a Weston Master V meter and developed in Ilford ID11 for 6 minutes at 22ºc.
